North Carolina State University is pleased to offer one-week workshops designed to prepare new and beginning teachers (0-4 years of AP experience) for Advanced Placement courses in Biology and Environmental Science. Both workshops will review changes for the 2019-2020 NEW AP Curricula, College Board Resources and changes to Testing and Grading. The workshops meet on the campus of North Carolina State University from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and end at noon on Friday. Early-bird registration ($700/week before June 1) or regular registration ($750/week June 1 or later) includes all course materials, daily lunch and snacks, parking permits, and transportation to field trip sites. Lodging is available for out-of-town participants. A deposit of $100 is required to reserve a seat in the class. Completed application materials should be submitted as early as possible, but will be considered at any time until the class is filled.
