We will be holding our workshops In Person this summer – 2022

Registration is now open

North Carolina State University is pleased to offer one-week workshops designed to prepare new and beginning teachers (0-4 years of AP experience) for Advanced Placement courses in Biology and Environmental Science. Both workshops will review changes for the 2022-2023 AP Curricula, College Board Resources and changes to Testing and Grading.  The workshops meet on the campus of North Carolina State University from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and end at noon on Friday. Early-bird registration ($750/week before June 1) or regular registration ($800/week June 1 or later) includes all course materials, daily lunch and snacks, parking permits, and transportation to field trip sites. Lodging is available for out-of-town participants. A deposit of $100 is required to reserve a seat in the class. Participants will work on a group project to be presented on the last day of the workshop.  This will require a few hours of evening work at home.  The projects will be shared for all to use.  Completed application materials should be submitted as early as possible, but will be considered at any time until the class is filled. For more information about each workshop, please follow the links at right.
