Molecular and Cellular Biology

Faculty in the Molecular and Cellular Biology group investigate basic cellular and developmental mechanisms that function in health and disease. We use both eukaryotic and prokaryotic organisms to study how molecules and pathways shape development and the response of organisms to their internal and external environments. Studies utilize a variety of modern techniques and integrate extensively with other research approaches within the department and university-wide.
