Apply to one (or more) of the AP Summer Institutes by following these three steps:
- Complete and submit the Application Form online. You will automatically receive a copy of your application form that you can share with your school system (if needed).
Once you receive an email confirming that we have space for you:
- Please fill out the Tuition & Lodging Form. This is important so that we can track your plans for tuition payment, reserve a dorm room, and arrange for meals and parking while you are attending the workshop.
- Mail in your check for the deposit ($100 for each week). Make your check payable to NCSU and send it to:

Tuition and Fees are $675 per week ($725/week if paid after June 1). A deposit of $100 is required to reserve a place in each class. Tuition includes all course materials, daily lunch and snacks, parking permits, and transportation to field trip sites. Lodging is available for out-of-town participants. After we receive your application and deposit check, we will email a confirmation notice to the email address listed in your workshop application. You will receive further enrollment instructions in early to mid-June. If you must cancel your registration and notify us at least four weeks in advance of the institute, we will refund all payments. After that date, your deposit is no longer refundable. You may cancel and request a refund of paid tuition up to two weeks before the start of the institute. No refunds will be given for no-shows or cancellations within two weeks of the institute.
