Microbiology Community Outreach Education Projects
What: Students from MB351 teach microbiology with hands-on activities to the public at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences in the MicroWorld iLab, 11 W. Jones St., Raleigh. Students spend the semester developing a microbiology lesson plan that they teach to museum participants. Topics range from antibiotic resistance to the role of microbes in food.…
