Hanna Bailey
Bio
Hanna Bailey recently graduated with an MPH in Environmental and Occupational Health from the University of Washington – Seattle, where she worked as a research assistant for the Northwest Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit (PEHSU). Her passion for environmental exposures for young families brought her to the GenX Exposure Study. As the community engagement specialist, she is committed to education and equity so that all families in North Carolina can be equipped with the knowledge to make informed decisions about PFAS. She is devoted to translating study results and publications into accessible information for all audiences.
Prior to Seattle, Hanna completed her bachelor’s degree in Bioenvironmental Sciences at Texas A&M University in 2019 and served two years as an AmeriCorps VISTA for Quixote Communities, a non-profit serving chronically homeless adults and veterans in Washington state.
