Com Sci Con-Triangle 2025 (Detail)

All graduate students are invited to apply for ComSciCon-Triangle 2025, a science communication workshop organized by and for graduate students in North Carolina!

At this free, two-day workshop, attendees will have the chance to develop essential science communication skills, network with peers, engage with expert writers and communicators, and create an original piece for potential publication. You can view examples of published pieces from past ComSciCon participants here.

ComSciCon-Triangle is a local version of the national ComSciCon workshop, held annually in Cambridge, MA. Founded in 2013 by graduate students at Harvard and MIT, over 300 graduate students nationwide have already participated in the national ComSciCon programs.

Day 1: Sunday, January 19th, 2025

Day 2: Sunday, January 26th, 2025

Times: ~9 am–2 pm on both days (Refreshments and lunch provided)

Location: Morehead Planetarium and Science Center, 250 E Franklin St, Chapel Hill, NC 27514

Application Deadline: November 28th, 2024, 11:59 pm

~ 50 attendees will be selected through a competitive application process (prior experience in science communication is not required).
